Medidata Academy is happy to announce several training course updates. The six (6) updated eLearning courses and two (2) Instructor-led courses are available now via iMedidata. The courses are available in English and have been rebranded to reflect Rave eCOA as the Medidata standard product name. Additional accumulation updates have been added to the courses as needed covering the following 2019 feature releases:
- PIN-only registration workflow (2019.2.0)
- Activation Code regeneration workflow (PC Registration 2019.1.0)
- Training Mode (2019.3.0)
- Training Mode Completion (PC Registration 2019.4.0)
- Four new Control Types (2019.3.0)
- Caregiver Accounts (2019.4.0)
- Form Setting - Caregiver (2019.4.0)
- Multiple study enrollment (PC Registration 2019.5.0)
- Anytime forms supported by Form Availability (2019.5.0)
All of the following updates are automatically available to new users according to current course mapping and require no additional action for study administrators. The updated courses are recommended for existing users but are not automatically assigned, and course completions are not impacted.
Updated eLearning Courses (6)
This course has been updated to include accumulation content to support users in getting a broad overview of the Rave eCOA product features and functions.
Along with limited scripting throughout the course, the primary updated feature additions are:
- User Interface for the Patient Cloud mobile app
- Training Mode module for Patients on enabled studies
This course replaced the existing course named Medidata Patient Cloud eCOA/ePRO Overview on iMedidata 6 November 2019, and has no impact on current course completions or study access for external clients. There is no action required for users who viewed the previous course, and all new users will automatically be assigned the updated course.

- Training Mode module for Patients on enabled studies
- Site Mode onboarding workflow (not tied to 2019 feature releases)
These courses replaced the existing courses named Medidata Patient Cloud: Site Workflow and ePRO Registration and Medidata Patient Cloud: Site Workflow and ePRO Registration Train the Trainer starting 6 November 2019, and has no impact on current course completions or study access for external clients. There is no action required for users who attended the previous courses, and all new users will automatically be enrolled in the updated version of the respective course.
