Making change where it matters most.
Our employees are at the helm of our program and participate in over 100 global volunteer initiatives across the globe. All of our events are focused on our team goals, Access for All and STEM education.
Each office has an engagement council that selects the events they want to host annually from volunteer initiatives to charitable runs, and even annual celebrations and parties.
Our local councils play an integral part in designing our program. We understand that the needs of communities vary. That’s why we work directly with our engagement councils in each office to ensure that they have a voice when building our programs.
Our global strategy has impact at the forefront. All of our office’s have designed similar programs. They work with organizations that are part of the Points of Light Foundation for our volunteer initiatives, participate in charitable runs that are connected to patient advocacy groups, and adopt a local school and/or STEM organization to work with annually.
Medidata C.A.R.E.S
Mental Health First Aiders
At Medidata we recognise that good mental health and wellness is as important as great physical health. And the challenges that we’ve all faced during COVID-19 made that even more apparent. As a result, it is globally accepted that the need for mental health and psychosocial support will substantially increase in the coming months and years. That’s why in EMEA, we’ve just supported 17 employees to become certified Mental Health First Aiders by Mental Health England.
Making a Difference
Our employees are an integral part in creating a better world.
Our employees in EMEA have designed an impactful program.
With a heavy concentration on health and fitness, our London office participants in three annual runs and cycle competitions a year. We had just under half of our employees in the U.K participate in an event last year including the Cancer Research UK (CRUK) Winter Run, the J.P Morgan Corporate Race, and the annual Nicola Werner Cycle Challenge in Paris.
We also work closely with the local Hammersmith Business Improvement District (BID) to increase sustainable initiatives in our community. We partnered on a parklet project that increased green space and air quality in the community.
It is our goal to make the community that we live in healthier and more innovative.
We also take a holistic approach to wellness by combining our benefits, community outreach initiatives, sustainability efforts, and our learning and development courses to make our employees happier and healthier.
