The company’s newly released solution received the prestigious International Innovation Award (IIA) 2020 for “myMedidata – The Industry’s First Patient Portal Platform”
Singapore -- (December 16, 2020) -- Medidata, a Dassault Systèmes company, the global leader in creating end-to-end solutionsthat support the entire clinical trial process, received the prestigious International Innovation Award (IIA) 2020 for “myMedidata – The Industry’s First Patient Portal Platform”. myMedidata is a single-destination patient portal enabling virtual participation in clinical trials for new medicines,vaccines, and research. The Award commended Medidata for launching the industry’s first patient portal providing a holistic solution from the recruitment of patients to virtual participation with remote patient data capture and live video visits along with the return of patient data to the participant.
Organized by Enterprise Asia, the annual IIA recognition program recognizes outstanding innovations in the categories of Product, Service and Solution, and Organization and Culture with the goal encouraging organizations to continue investing in innovation. Medidata was selected as the winner under the Service & Solution category out of the 120 submissions from over 13 countries.

It was developed using insights from Medidata’s Patient Insights team and made to be accessible from any device with an internet connection.
Launched in April 2020, the first release included a research-based COVID-19 symptom tracker, designed to support research organizations to follow patients’ COVID-19 symptoms for their ongoing and future trials, and advance scientific understanding of the virus. In October 2020, the latest release includes remote eConsent, eCOA, and myMedidata LIVE, a web-based, live video conferencing capability. With myMedidata LIVE, patients can virtually connect with their clinical trial study staff, providing researchers and patients a way to remain engaged in remote site visits within the platform of site and patient-facing technologies.
