About the Role:

In this role, you will be a vital contributor to Medidata's work to advance innovation in patient health and patient experience. By working with our global R&D Division you are closely connected to our mission. The teams are developing tools, platforms and capabilities to support and our SaaS and data analytics solutions that advance and accelerate clinical research for our customers and ultimately for patients. In this role you will report directly to Medidata's Chief Technology Officer.

Responsibilities:

Set the agenda, coordinate logistics, and create materials for meetings including offsites, town halls, and monthly/quarterly business reviews.Track execution of action items originating from Global Technology Leadership meetings.Design presentations that distill and communicate analytical and observational findings to stakeholders, including creating figures and diagrams to illustrate operations and progress. Partner with Finance & Business Management on key business management functions including project/resource management, budget/forecasting, vendor management, and financial analysis.Partner with HR on key resource management functions such as requisitions, talent development, onboarding, and change management. Partner with Communications to ensure clear messaging across the organization.Be a culture carrier, connecting the organization to Medidata's mission.

Required Qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Advanced analytical reasoning skills, and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, and operational objectives.Proven ability in managing dependencies, and controlling change in shifting environments.Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, establishing productive relationships, and driving beneficial outcomes aligned with firm objectives5+ years of experience in managing program/ project schedules, tracking program/ project and milestone completion, and reporting progress effectively to stakeholders.5+ years of experience with the tools used to produce documentation, stakeholder communications, and track program metrics.Meaningful experience with clinical research or development of therapeutic products, ideally within an industry setting.

Able to influence across virtual teams and disparate stakeholder groups. Diplomatic personality with the ability to lead, influence and motivate others.Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses. The base pay range for this role is $120,000 - $153,000.
