About the Team:

Provide support to 3DS Life Science Engagement sales executives as a member of the Global Sales Operations team. This team is responsible for leading and managing all core sales ops functions, such as forecasting, pipeline management, quota and attainment, sales coverage, capacity and territory optimization, management dashboards and supporting key account planning and deal reviews.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Operations and Management System Execution.
  • Support the Life Science Engagement (LSE) Sales Leadership and Sales Team.
  • As a member of the Segment Operations team, you will help design enterprise level reporting for all Sales Key Metrics including OKR's, achievement reporting, forecast reports, headcount reporting, etc.
  • Responsible for managing the Bi-Annual Sales Quota setting process for the sales segment, including providing quota setting guidance, quantitative territory analysis, and ensuring to complete quota deployment by the required deadlines.
  • Own and orchestrate sales forecast of the sales segment - Lead the weekly Sales Process calls and Quarterly Business Reviews for your leaders.
  • Build and deploy user-friendly Reports and Tableau visualizations to enable reporting self-service.
  • Responsible for process maintenance, documentation, and information management.
  • Deliver Management Analytics, perform opportunity & pipeline management to ensure pipeline hygiene
  • Interpret internal/external business trends & issues and recommend best practices / insights to sales leadership
  • Work with Sales Leaders in creating analytics, detailed business growth plans and high-level presentations to drive communication and execute the go to market for each business by leveraging salesforce tools
  • Embed AI capabilities and AI powered analysis to improve business outcomes and deliver actionable insights.
  • Proactively contributes to management discussions and Executive Reviews.
  • Gathers, analyzes, and summarizes presentation content for the sales executive and the Global Ops leadership.
  • Coordinates with other organizations such as finance, strategy, marketing, and other business units.
  • Run analysis over the revenue implications of the sales activity. Deliver recommendations to sales leadership to maximize revenue outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of working experience with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience must be in one or more of the following areas: Sales Operations, Sales, Finance, or Revenue operations
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, strong business judgment and a clear thinker who understands details and can distill complex topics into clear summaries.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce extremely high-quality work product; and high energy level; team player.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Strong Salesforce reporting and dashboards skills.
  • Tableau Data Visualizations skills
  • Experience with Salesforce AI capabilities

The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New York City, may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $96,000 - $128,000.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
