About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Organization Design and Change Leader to help drive change management and employee communications. You'll lead large-scale organizational design projects and advise stakeholders while enhancing employee engagement. This role is pivotal in ensuring successful transitions during periods of change while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. In this role, you will report to Medidata's Chief People Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute change management strategies and plans to ensure successful adoption of new initiatives and processes.
  • Identify potential risks and resistance points and develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns.
  • Monitor and assess change management progress as well as develop a program of KPIs to measure Medidata's desired progress as we transform and grow.
  • Deep understanding of using organizational design as an integral component of transformational initiatives focused on accelerating business performance. Understanding of the opportunities and risks associated with acquisitions, divestitures, mergers and the organizational design implications
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management initiatives and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Lead efforts to increase employee awareness and engagement around change initiatives.
  • Act as an advocate for our continuous improvement and fostering excitement around our evolution.
  • Develop and execute an employee communications strategy that builds and fosters trust in Medidata's purpose and journey
  • Create and distribute engaging content through various channels, including emails, intranet, town halls, and newsletters, presentations and facilitating training.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment of messages across the organization.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities for peers, and act as a visible role model for our people
  • Partner closely with Comms, People, and the Executive team on company-wide communications and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience in organizational development, change management and related fields, with at least 5 of those focused on employee communications
  • Writing skills that infuse personality and humanity (you write like people talk!).
  • Strong project management skills and able to manage concurrent deliverables.
  • Ability to maintain productive working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of innovative change management methodologies and tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses. Medidata believes that benefits should connect you to the support you need when it matters most and provides best-in-class benefits, including medical, dental, life and disability insurance; 401(k) matching; flexible paid time off; and 10 paid holidays per year. The salary range for this role is $96,000 - $128,000.
