About the Team:

The Associate Manager, Technical Content Strategy will lead a functional group of Technical Content Strategists within the Global Education organization, driving the quality and on time delivery of product release technical content.

Responsibilities:

  1. All scope of Medidata People Management for 3-10 direct reports, covering a subset of centralized TCS scope
  2. Manage that associated subset of centralized TCS functions that primarily support Product Releases and align with Medidata Experiences
  3. For your team, achieve cross-MGE synergies to enable co- and hybrid TCS-LSD coverage of release scope of work
  4. Manage knowledge transfer and product proficiency development to enable resource upskilling and resource allocation management in support of changing demands for technical content strategy services

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Content Strategy or Technical Writing or equivalent experience preferred
  2. 4-5 years expertise in developing Technical Content/Documentation for life-sciences products and solutions, including related technical writing proficiencies
  3. Exprience in Confluence preferred
  4. Working knowledge of GSuite office technologies, Zoom, JIRA, and HTML
  5. 1-2 years experience as team lead suppoting a team of 6-10 technical writers

The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City Metro Area. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on many factors including function, level, candidate experience, and geographic location. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New York City Metro Area, may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $79,500 - $106,000.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
