Medidata NEXT Conference in Shanghai Unveils Vision for Life Sciences to Accelerate the Development of New Therapies

Event showcases AI and innovative technologies to accelerate the delivery of new therapies to patients

SHANGHAI, China, Sept. 6, 2024– Medidata, a Dassault Systèmes brand and leading provider of clinical trial solutions to the life sciences industry, has kicked off NEXT Shanghai 2024, the company’s premier life sciences conference. Celebrating its 13th year, the event is unveiling transformative innovations designed to reshape the clinical landscape and deliver next-generation therapies to patients.

Bringing together over 600 life sciences experts from around the world, NEXT Shanghai is helping to highlight the pivotal role of artificial intelligence (AI) and decentralized clinical trials (DCT) in the future of clinical development. The conference features presentations from industry thought leaders, such as Tony Guo, Ph.D. from BeiGene, and Prof. Li Jin from Shanghai GoBroad Cancer Hospital China Pharmaceutical University.

The event also includes interactive sessions and immersive experiences, which provide participants with hands-on opportunities to engage with the latest technologies. Attendees can explore innovation booths, simulate trial experiences, and interact with advanced data management systems from the perspective of patients, sponsors, sites, and contract research organizations (CROs), gaining valuable insights into how they can engage with and conduct clinical trials.
