Innovators recognized at Medidata’s flagship life sciences NEXT New York event

These awards recognize individuals and biopharmaceutical organizations driving advancements in clinical trials through digital innovations and AI, patient-centric approaches, partnerships, sustainability, and medtech breakthroughs. This year also marks the launch of Medidata’s Site Alliance Award, spotlighting a site or organization that refined clinical trial site operations or accelerated study timelines.

- Digital Innovation: AstraZeneca
- AstraZeneca was recognized for their leadership and innovation in the EHR to EDC space.
- Patient Leadership: Lexicon Pharmaceuticals
- Lexicon Pharmaceuticals exceeded patient enrollment and key performance metrics for its Diabetic Neuropathic Pacing Management study by leveraging Medidata’s eCOA, Medidata Detect, and Medidata Patient Data Surveillance solutions.
- Collaboration of the Year: Bristol Myers Squibb & IQVIA
- Bristol Myers Squibb expedited the early approval of a CAR-T cancer therapy in partnership with Medidata.
- IQVIA reduced burden on both patients and the clinical trial sites with the integration of Medidata into its One Home for Sites™ platform. In addition, IQVIA promoted the advancement and acceleration of tokenization through its end-to-end Tokenization process with Medidata.
- Med Tech Innovation: Philips
- Philips improved patient care and mitigated staff shortages at New York University with its collaboration with Medidata.
- AI in Support of Drug Development: Immunovant & Everest Clinical Research
- Immunovant accelerated patient enrollment for three rare disease studies with Medidata’s Intelligent Trials.
- Everest Clinical Research drove a 93% client retention rate with Medidata AI Site Feasibility.
- Sustainability: Merck
- Merck adopted a bring-your-own-device initiative that led 85% of patients to use Medidata eCOA, helping reduce environmental impact.
- Site Alliance Award: CNS Healthcare
- CNS Healthcare, which operates across five sites and provides mobile healthcare to underserved populations, enhanced trial operations with Medidata technology.
- Glen de Vries Epic Award: Dr. Owen Garrick
- Under Garrick’s leadership as chief medical officer at Mayo Clinic, CVS Health enrolled more than 36,000 participants into U.S. clinical trials, representing 5% of all study participants in the country.
- Linnea Olson Patient Advocacy Award: Desirée Walker
- Desirée is a global advocate for breast cancer patients after being diagnosed twice, using her experience to educate and empower others.
